I've been on this site for four years now. Would've been my fifth year on October 25th. Ah, well.
But, it's time for me to move on and get away from this site.

Jeez, look how much time I wasted on this site. By the way, once the tagging and titles were required, uploading images became more tedious. But, I kept goin' anyways. Heh, my only editorship were just starting the Animal Crossing and Lolicon entries. I didn't really do much more than that.

Liche just shot himself in the foot because he got mad over something silly which he misconstrued himself. He decided to draw as much attention to himself by not only making this thread but also going out of his way to post pornography ( NC Content ) on the site in order to force the ban – very childish and not only that, but selfish too.

Frankly if he did want to leave the site without being a childish spiteful prat, he should have just done this thread whatevs and then deactivated and been done with that – he didn't even have to deactivate, just stop using the site. It's not hard. That's the adult way to do things.

He went out like a dickhead, that's the final impression he's left on the site and frankly it's not one he deserves. He brought it on himself, I'd of rather just remembered him for the nice stuff – not as a selfish prat who took his anger out on the site by posting NC content and just acting like an overall child.

I honestly don't get why meesh is being shit on for saying something that's usually common sense like "wow isn't breaking one of the biggest site rules in a very very annoying way just to get more attention when leaving and generally being really smug about it a bad thing?"

How is this a bad opinion. I don't see it at all. If someone else did it would it be bad? Who gets the free passes? I'm not too read up on the context of this drama but I can't see any situation where this kind of behavior would be just. Sure it sucks for those of you that knew the guy I know but don't let that cloud what has happened. I'm not saying he's a bad person I barely knew liche but jeez this is embarrassing. And Liche, if you're lurkin'. All I can say, is I tried. I really did try. I thought you were cool just like the rest of them, but as I kept going, I knew any attempts I could make wasn't going to work, so I didn't push you or myself any further and dropped it.
It's really not a good thing to see you say that you merely tolerate others here. And that you're so unforgiving toward people that one thing that someone did long ago you're still upset about. Dude, that's not good for you. Holding grudges, holding on to hatred? It only takes a toll on yourself, it doesn't affect the people you hate at all. Learn to forgive, if only for yourself. You don't need to like the person you are holding on to hatred for, you just need to let go.

Bob was being condescending as usual, sure, but Liche was the one who overreacted to everything he said, then threw a temper tantrum and deliberately got himself banned. Liche will be regretting this within the week, and by that time he won't be able to just come back because he got himself permabanned for melodrama's sake.

Normally shit like this blows over; many of the people in this very thread have temporarily rage quit the site themselves. But Liche can't just ask one of the admins to reactivate his account when he's banned. He's fucked himself over for good this time, and all because of Bob calling him a jackass.

I should probably point out that I called him a jackass because he felt the need to taunt me over a pm and the irc. So, I had a lapse of judgment.

As i said in irc, the upvotes are kind of a double standard. If it had been anyone else you guys would have grilled them and drug them through hell and back for making a thread like this.

Did you not listen to what triple said at all? No one is telling people to not commemorate liche he had a lot of friends. No one said "no you're not allowed to like this guy or be friends with him". Like hero said, you can be friends with someone and still know when to call them out. This isn't any petty crime either. It's not just a little teeny prank. I agree kym should be a little lax and fun but porn flooding laced with personal attacks, that breaks like all the biggest rules in the books. He got banned for it so obviously the system worked. He's no innocent in this action.
