Centurii-chan - 90% of videogame "choices" are like this. its actually infuriating

SMTV had one moment that really stuck out to me despite (probably because) of how tiny it really was. When Lahmu (evil god) absorbs Sahori (girl he brainwashed into shooting up her school), the player is given a choice between "try and grab Sahori" and "protect Tao" (another girl).

They only made a pre-rendered cutscene for "protect Tao," so it plays regardless of your pick

The worst is when the game passes moral judgement at you for that decision, when it was never really yours to make in the first place.
