The latest news update for Gmod requests users to remove all Nintendo content

Very unfortunate update considering how long the content has been allowed to exist for the game, as far back as the website that was used to hold downloadable mods.

Apparently I heard it was done by a copyright troll named Aaron Peters

Which makes sense, as why would Nintendo go after GMOD NOW of all times?

Thank god, your voice of provides clarity within the messy maddness.

Garry Newmann made a tweet saying he "verified the takedowns are legit" but there's still a lot of skepticism. Making very authentic looking fake documents is a bit too easy in this day and age (scarily so) so no one is certain one way or another.

This was put up on the workshop almost immediatley after the announcement and then was hidden. I'm glad the community is protesting this dumb decision.
