Explanation from a friendly neighborhood weeb. This is chalked full of a bunch of silly Japanese puns involving deer ("shika").

The show's Japanese name is Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan.

Shikanoko = a (somewhat silly) last name, but could also be translated as "deer child"
nokonoko = boldly/shamelessly/brazenly (like a dog smiling at you after shitting on the carpet)
Noko = the first name of the meme protag (full name is Shikanoko Noko)
koshitantan = vigilantly/alertly keeping an eye out (e.g. a pigeon waiting to steal your hotdog)
shikairo days = a play on "Sorairo days", the OP for Gurren Lagann, which means "sky-coloured days". Now it means "Deer-coloured days"

From the show's trailer, it also just has a bunch of silly wordplay/puns surrounding "shika" (deer).
